Molly comes to AccuBuild after teaching 8th Grade math for several years. She has had many professional incarnations. After receiving her BA in Psychology at Boston University, she decided to explore her creativity side and attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. An opportunity arose to work with an OEM Parts Program at Toyota National HQ which led to setting up a similar program at Honda National HQ. After learning a bit about the automotive industry, Molly went to the heartland of the country and worked extensively within Mergers and Acquisitions at Borden, a KKR-owned company at the time. At this time, Molly met and married Philip, a former USMC Scout Sniper. They lived in Columbus, OH but missed family in California.
Together, Molly and her husband moved back to California and Molly made the decision to become a stay-at-home mother for the two beautiful daughters they had. During this time, Molly stayed involved as a consultant and on the board of her family business, Laffer Investments. As the girls grew and the family moved to Texas, Molly decided to make another career change and went back to school and received her credentials to teach. She is a certified K-6 ESL GenEd teacher as well as a certified 4th-8th Grade Math teacher.
Now, Molly is at AccuBuild as the CEO’s Executive Assistant. She was lured away from teaching by AccuBuild’s strong culture of trust and progress. She is excited to assist AccuBuild in attaining its goals of being the premiere construction business management software in the country. When she is not at AccuBuild, she can be found hanging out with her husband, daughters, and dogs. She loves traveling, photography, sewing, and baking/cooking.
